Group Power 
A high energy aerobic workout that begins with warm-ups stretching the whole body, and will include isolation exercises. We will also concentrate on strengthening the core. The latest dance moves will be taught to the newest music in the genre. Dance progressions across the floor along with dance combinations that will be challenging mentally and physically. Everyone should be ready to move and get down. All levels welcome. For information and registration call our Division Manager (847) 353-7582.
Taekwondo
Uniforms are required. Orders are taken by the instructor at the first class. The price per uniform is $45 All classes are held in the conference room.
Master Instructor Aris DeGuzman leads the Buffalo Grove Fitness Center Taekwondo classes. His reputation is excellent among his peers and students. Aris' credentials include being a 4th degree Kukkiwon black belt, 3rd degree Dan Young Moo Do, 1st degree Dan Hap ki Do, 1998 National Team Member, De la Salle University Tae Kwon Do Varsity Team, Philippine National Referee, Batch 17 Tae Kwon Do Black Belt Brotherhood Batch Leader, and USA Tae Kwon Do Union National Referee.
David Walcoff assists in our Taekwondo classes. He began studying Taekwondo in the Spring of 1999 and has trained for 2 1/2 years to earn his Black Belt and become an assistant instructor.

Little Jins
All Colors
Ages 4 - 5
This introductory class is designed to captivate the interest of our youngest students. Skills are developed through gentle instruction and appropriate games for their ability. This class focuses on developing balance, coordination and respect for the discipline of martial arts training.
Monday: 4 - 4:30 p.m.
Saturday: 10 -10:30 a.m.
Beginner
White - Orange Belts
This program includes a balanced cardiovascular workout including punching, kicking and blocking skills, using the Taekwondo tradition and self-control. Participants will improve coordination, balance and both physical and mental discipline.
Monday: 5:25 - 6:05 p.m.
Thursday: 6:30 - 7:10 p.m.
Saturday: 10:30 - 11:10 a.m.
Intermediate
Green/Purple/Blue Belts
This class continues to lead students through the art of Taekwondo with a more serious approach. Conditioning and techniques are more challenging. Discipline and focus is also challenged through sparring.
Monday: 4:30 - 5:20 p.m.
Thursday: 4:30 - 5:20 p.m.
Saturday: 11:15 a.m. - 12:05 p.m.
Advanced
Brown - Black Belts
This class continues to lead students through the art of Taekwondo with a more serious approach. Conditioning and techniques are more challenging. Discipline and focus is also challenged through sparring.
Thursday: 5:25 - 6:25 p.m.
Saturday: 9 - 10 a.m.
Adult Taekwondo
This program concentrates on techniques through the study of forms, stances and the skills of punching, kicking and blocking. As you learn the discipline with Taekwondo you will get an amazing workout.
Monday: 7:15 - 8:15 p.m.
Thursday: 7:15 - 8:15 p.m.
Pilates Reformer Classes
Open Classes
Open classes are offered for those who want to sign-up for individual classes. These classes are taught at a beginners level. The prerequisite is to have completed Reform School or receive at least 2 private sessions and have an instructor's approval. Payment must be received at time of registration at the front desk.
Reform School
In this class you will receive an equipment orientation. You will learn the 5 basic principles, the boney landmark connections, proper techniques, along with the essential reformer exercises. This class will help you get the most out of your Pilates practice based on the work of Joseph H. Pilates.
Essential Reformer Level
Based on the work of Joseph H. Pilates, this class incorporates strength and flexibility movements which produce lean muscles and core stability. This class is designed using the essential exercises on the reformer and technique and breath will be emphasized. Preqrequiste for this class is to have completed Reform School or receive at least 2 private reformer sessions and have an instructor's approval.
Intermediate Reformer Level
Based on the work of Joseph H. Pilates, this class incorporates strength and flexibility movements which produce lean muscles and core stability. This class is designed using the essential exercises on the reformer and technique and breath will be emphasized.
