ATTENTION COLLEGE STUDENTS

Must be a current student of an accredited university pursuing a degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies or related field. Must possess a valid drivers license and own transportation.

Office Receptionist Position Available

Mondays and Fridays from 1:00 - 5:00 pm
Saturdays from 9:00 am - noon

Salary - $10.00 per hour

NWSRA
(Northwest suburbs) The Northwest Special Recreation Association is looking for individuals 16 & older that are looking for experience working with people with developmental and physical challenges during the summer months.  We are seeking part-time program staff, inclusion program aides, lifeguards, and water safety instructors.  An Interview night will be held on November 28 at the Inverness Park District, 300 Highland Rd., Palatine, from 4:30-7:30 p.m.  Hours are flexible, and pay will be commensurate with experience.  For more information, please contact Sue Huckstadt, Manager of Special Recreation Support Services/Cultural Arts, at 847-392-2848.  Applications are available online at www.nwsra.org

LIFEGUARD and/or SWIM INSTRUCTOR

15 years of age or older.  Certified in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training in order to lifeguard.  No certification required to teach swim lessons.  Mature, responsible and a great attitude.

MANAGER/COORDINATOR

18 years of age or older.  American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR:PR, AED, Oxygen Administration and WSI certifications are required.  Responsible for coordination of swim lessons and managing staff.  Knowledge of American Red Cross programs is needed.  Job hours - weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Clubhouse Recreation Leader

Are you looking for a worthwhile volunteer experience? Volunteers are needed to help with a variety of programs and projects. Volunteers lead tours, sew, work with the collection, plan new programs, help at special events, and with general supervision during open hours.
